Carmentis to World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival

Short film Carmentis makes its world premiere at Tribeca Film festival in NYC this April. The film is about a grief stricken miner who finds himself injured on the desolate planet Carmentis. He must overcome his personal demons in order to survive, but can he get there before the planet freezes.

Xoe Says: “From the moment Antony (the director) pitched the idea of Carmentis to me, I knew I had to work on it. I loved designing the character of EVE - from the outset, she seems like just an AI, but as the story moves along, you really feel an emotional connection with her. The challenge was to make her ‘robotic’ but with a soul - which is a hard line to balance. I knew I got her right when, after watching the film more times than I can count, I cried."
